The ModWing is a standalone piece of concealment-enhancing hardware. It allows a user’s belt to apply additional leverage by rotating the holster and the grip of the gun towards the user’s body, creating better concealment and less user “printing” of the firearm and holster. It is available in two versions, standard and light-bearing. Interchangeable inserts allow the user to choose a strong or mild rotation, based on the user’s attire. The aggressive texture molded into the insert face increases the stability of the ModWing, in turn, the firearm and holster.
The ModWing will ship with two eyelets, oval head screws, and Chicago screw posts as additional components to allow for less play when installed on holsters with adjustable retention. The ModWing standard components include a Spine, 2 Interchangeable Riser Inserts, and Assembly Hardware. It is one of our preferred choices for a left handed wing while we await the Dark Wing for left handed wearers.
