WHERE WE COME FROM
In 2009…
During the peak of the training season, we identified a significant need for a more compact, less obtrusive holster than what was currently dominating the market. Engaging in extensive discussions with several manufacturing companies, it became increasingly clear that our innovative concept was met with reluctance and a lack of enthusiasm. Faced with this challenge, the adage “necessity is the mother of invention” rang true, leading to the inception of Dark Star Gear.

At Dark Star Gear, our mission is to design and create holsters and pouches that embody a minimalist ethos. This design philosophy stems from our own experiences and the valuable feedback we receive from our customers. We’ve found that gear with a minimal footprint tends to accommodate a wider range of users effectively. Furthermore, we are deeply committed to continuous improvement. As we receive input and suggestions, we meticulously refine and enhance our products to better meet the needs of our customers.

The Apollo is optic cut, has dual 1.5” belt clips, and adjustable ride height all as standard. Ambidextrous for all users, without any of the drawbacks or feature limitations found in other holsters. And before you ask, yes it is Enigma compatible. To carry AIWB, simply add our Dark Wing.
